2012 USA Women Team Honored

On the heels of gold-medal performances at the 2012 Olympic Games, USA Basketball named its 2012 U.S. Women’s and Men’s Olympic/National Teams as co-recipients of the 2012 USA Basketball Team of the Year award. Diana Taurasi got a personal nod.

Taurasi Named Athlete of the Year

Diana Taurasi has been chosen as USA Basketball's Female Athlete of the Year for 2012 after leading the Americans to a fifth straight Olympic gold medal. The high-energy Phoenix Mercury gunner led Team USA in scoring at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Moore Making Mark in China

WNBA Announces Rules Changes

The WNBA will implement new rules regarding flopping and defensive three-seconds, while also extending the three-point line, Chief of Basketball Operations and Player Relations Renee Brown announced following the league’s Board of Governor’s Meeting.
