Senator Lisa Murkowski recently concluded the first United States Senate hearing on Capitol Hill on the issue of Alaska subsistence policies and concerns. The historic hearing was the culmination of public meetings Senator Murkowski held on subsistence in Bethel and Glennallen, and a Kuskokwim River fish camp trip she took this past summer.
