Congressman Pascrell was joined by community leaders and school officials at Rutherford High School to announce $1.25 million in federal Drug-Free Communities grants to the Rutherford Community Prevention Coalition and the Secaucus Municipal Alliance to fund community drug prevention initiatives in Rutherford and Secaucus.

Congressman Pascrell hosted a roundtable discussion with family caregivers to discuss his legislation that would establish competitive grants to public and non-profit organizations to carry out family caregiver home visiting programs.

Congressman Pascrell announced a nearly $9 million federal U.S. Department of Labor grant to the Passaic County Community College to fund a program that will train and place individuals into high demand occupations in Healthcare, Information Technology, and Energy/Environmental sectors.

Congressman Pascrell was joined by representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich in walking along Main Street in Fort Lee to visit local small businesses and provide information on federal SBA resources like loans and grants.
