Promoting America's Interests Abroad
As a world leader, America must continue to defend our interests around the world from the threat of extremist governments, radical leaders, and terrorism. America is the most powerful country in the world, and we can and must act when our vital national interests and values are threatened.
Sessions, who has traveled extensively to nations around the world, has witnessed first hand the state of America's military and world reputation.
Sessions supports using the many resources at our disposal to protect American interests and promote American values. Among these are diplomatic relations, law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and economic sanctions. Sessions strongly believes that these options should be used effectively, with the military option only used as a last resort.
