WASHINGTON – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) voted in support of two measures this week that respond to the President’s continual acts of executive overreach.
H.R. 4138, the Executive Needs to Faithfully Observe and Respect Congressional Enactments of the Law (ENFORCE the Law) Act of 2014 passed the House yesterday by a vote of 233-181. Through H.R. 4138, the House or Senate can authorize a lawsuit against the President when there is a failure to enforce policy that has been passed by Congress and signed into law.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) today voted for legislation to prohibit for one year the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from amending rules and regulations pertaining to 501(c)(4) groups.
The legislation, H.R. 3865, was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 243-176.

Washington D.C. – April 11th, 2013 – This week the House of Representatives passed H.R.678, The Bureau of Reclamation Small Conduit Hydropower Development and Rural Jobs Act by a vote of 416-7.
H.R. 678, sponsored by Representative Scott Tipton (R-CO), would expand the production of hydropower on Bureau of Reclamation canals by easing the regulatory burden placed on hydropower and reducing administrative costs for small canal and pipeline projects.
MUSKOGEE – April 9, 2013 – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) will present a Purple Heart to Tahlequah Veteran Paul Phillips in a special ceremony on Friday, April 19.
The ceremony will be held at Go Ye Village, 1201 W. 4th Street, Tahlequah, OK at 11 a.m. and will include a tribute to all military veterans. The public is welcome to attend. Veterans are encouraged to attend and be recognized for their service.
