Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) announced new bipartisan legislation, the Wounded Warrior Employment Improvement Act, to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) program, the key employment program to help assist, train and find jobs for veterans who have compensable service-connected disabilities. Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) announced today he has co-sponsored a bill cutting foreign aid to Egypt to offset the cost of funding the promises our country made to members of America’s military. The $500 million cut in foreign aid will offset the tuition assistance program that was suspended recently by the Army, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and the Air Force due to sequestration and a tightened military budget.
