You may recall a FOX 59 story late last year regarding Zionsville resident Dennis Norris's efforts to help his friend, Hayat Nuristani get to America.

Hayat Nuristani went "above and beyond" in helping American troops. Now, with Hayat's life threatened, Dennis is trying to help him escape to safety in the United States. Rep. Todd Rokita and middle schoolers from Tippecanoe County have advocated on their behalf to the State Department.
