The White House

white-house

Public tours of The White House are self-guided and can only be reserved through congressional offices.  These tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis and tour availability is very limited.  We highly recommend 6 months advanced notice for White House tours.  Tours of the White House are available Tuesday through Saturday, and are almost exclusively in the morning hours. The White House will notify Congressman Welch's office if your tour has been accepted or denied about 2 weeks before the tour date.

The Capitol

Capitol Tours are now led by professional guides at the new Capitol Visitor's Center and include timed tickets and an orientation film.  Click here to book your own Capitol Tour or through Rep. Welch here. School groups or anyone with special needs should book a Capitol Tour through Rep. Welch's office.  When at the Capitol, feel free to stop by Room 2303 of the Rayburn House Office Building to see Rep. Welch's office and to ask for passes to the Senate and House galleries to watch these bodies at work.
