U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) today announced that he will be chairing the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade during the 114th Congress.
“I am honored to serve as Chair of the Subcommittee on Trade during the next Congress. It’s an exciting time to be working on our country’s trade policy because there is plenty of room for common ground,” said Congressman Tiberi. “Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate, as well as the president, can agree that free trade agreements create more markets to sell American goods and services. Increasing exports will grow our businesses and create more American jobs.”
Congressman Tiberi was first appointed to the Ways and Means Committee in 2007. He has previously served as the Ranking Member and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures.
