WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman John L. Mica (R-7th District) will be hosting a Chamber of Commerce Fly-In to the Nation’s Capitol on May 6, 2003. All Chambers within the 7th Congressional District have been invited to send representatives. The 7th Congressional District includes St. Johns County, Flagler County and parts of Putnam, Volusia and Seminole Counties, as well as the cities of Winter Park and Maitland in Orange County.
The Fly-In is a one-day event with participants traveling to Washington from the Jacksonville, Daytona Beach and Orlando International Airports. Participants will meet with national leaders and Members of Congress to discuss issues facing the 108th Congress and to lobby for important local and regional needs within the 7th District.
