Internship Information and Applications

Congressional internships are an excellent opportunity for students to learn about our government and to contribute to Congresswoman Lowey’s work on behalf of the 17th Congressional District. All internships in Congresswoman Lowey's office are unpaid. Applicants will be contacted for interviews (either in person or over the phone) after the application deadlines.

For internships in the Westchester and Rockland County District Offices: The application deadline for summer internships in the Westchester and Rockland District Offices is Friday, February 27, 2015.  The Westchester and Rockland offices accept fall and winter/spring applications on a rolling basis. All applicants for an internship in the Westchester and Rockland offices must be available for an in-person interview. 

For internships in the Washington, D.C. office: Applications are currently being accepted for winter/spring 2015 internships in the Congresswoman's Washington, DC office. All applicants for an internship in the D.C. office must be available for a phone interview.
