Senate Approves Resolution Celebrating Colorado’s 140th Anniversary

Washington, DC – The U.S. Senate approved a resolution, introduced by Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), celebrating Colorado’s 140th anniversary. The resolution recognizes the many different facets of Colorado, including the more than 36,000 farms, 58 fourteeners, four National Parks, and countless world class ski resorts.

“Colorado is steeped in rich history and traditions that extend back 140 years to the founding of our state,” said Gardner. “Coloradans are proud of the state’s four national parks, 58 fourteeners, tens of thousands of farms and ranches, several state of the art technological facilities in renewable energy and aerospace, and countless businesses that call Colorado home. There is no greater honor than representing the people of the Centennial State and I join the millions of Coloradans in celebrating the state’s 140th anniversary this August.”
