U.S. Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) announced that the Senate passed his legislation, No Washington Exemption from Obamacare, as an amendment to the budget resolution last night. Vitter’s legislation would require all Members of Congress, the President, Vice President, and all political appointees within the administration to purchase their health insurance on the Obamacare Exchange without the help of a taxpayer funded subsidy, just like any other American getting health care on the exchange.
