David Vitter (R-La.) announced that Red River Parish will be designated as a primary natural disaster area by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) due to the recent drought. Under this designation from the Farm Service Agency (FSA), impacted farmers may apply for FSA emergency loans.
