The West Virginia Department of Transportation is sharing information on closed roads on social media. Check https://twitter.com/WVDOT or https://www.facebook.com/WVDOT/ for real–time road information.
If you need assistance for non–life threatening issues, please call your local 911 non–emergency number, police department, or fire department.
Many sheriff’s and fire departments are also collecting donations and helping shelters. For now, the Red Cross is asking for donations to be brought to drop-off sites and collection points, not brought to shelters. They do not have the staff at shelters needed to sort donations.
