Op-Ed in Star Democrat "State of the First District: We Have an Opportunity to Address Our Challenges"

I wrote the following op-ed that was published in the Star Democrat about my reaction to President Obama's State of the Union Address and where I see Maryland's First District. The President's speech was an opportunity to put forth a responsible way to deal with America’s challenges – especially out of control spending. His current inaction to replace the sequester is evidence he is not serious about cutting spending.
