Nearly 50 million Americans live in poverty. While government spending on anti-poverty and hunger programs has dramatically increased in the last four years, the poverty rate has stayed the same.
I'm working to identify innovative solutions to the problems of poverty and hunger that don't require massive government programs or deficit spending. By identifying programs that work and lowering the barriers to helping the poor, we can empower grassroots organizations to change lives.
