Sherman Statement on UCLA Shooting

Congressman Brad Sherman (CA-30), a UCLA alumnus, released the following statement on today’s shooting at the UCLA campus:
“As a Bruin, I join the entire UCLA community in mourning the loss of life at the UCLA campus today.
It is too early for us to know whether changes in public policy could have prevented this tragedy. But this tragedy should be viewed in light of other recent shootings which have taught us that we need additional common sense gun control measures. I want to thank law enforcement personnel and first responders for their efforts to prevent further casualties.”
