Washington, DC – Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-01) issued the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 935.
“It is important that we ensure pesticides are used in a safe and responsible manner, but having two separate permitting processes only creates confusion while doing nothing to enhance protections for our waterways. We should closely scrutinize any pesticide use, but it should happen through a single permitting process.”
