Economy and Jobs
We are going through a tough economic time and Americans everywhere are suffering, which is why I have made jobs my number one priority. It is my belief that small and large businesses create jobs, not the federal government. When our government attempts to assume the role of an entrepreneur, hardworking taxpayers suffer.
In order to get our economy thriving again, we must put more money back in the hands of taxpayers and job creators. By keeping taxes low, taxpayers are able to keep of their hard earned money which, in turn, leads to increased investments in our economy.
Similarly, small businesses are able to thrive with lower taxes and the elimination of excessive regulations. Small businesses are our nation’s economic engine, vital to our economic recovery and to getting Americans back to work.
I will always champion small businesses and support legislation that creates an economic environment conducive to job creation, increased trade, and lower taxation.
