The House passed the Midnight Rules Relief Act to protect Americans from last minute regulations that lack transparency and have not gone through rigorous analysis and public comment. Unelected and unaccountable federal bureaucrats should not be able to establish rules against the will of the people as displayed by the most recent election.

Last week, a federal court ruled the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) structure was unconstitutional. Over a year ago, I introduced legislation, H.R. 1266, to make that structure a bipartisan commission to bring accountability and political neutrality to the Bureau. Read about why the court’s ruling just reemphasizes my stance in The Hill http://thehill.com/…/301340-court-ruling-highlights-need-fo…

OPINION | We need the CFPB to be a credible agency, but structural change is needed.

Today marks one year since the tragic C-130J crash that claimed the lives of six Airmen and five civilians. We continue to mourn their loss. Last year, I led a moment of silence for them on the Floor of the House of Representatives https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiRd0Mdn_e0&feature=youtu.be

The Hyde Amendment (first enacted 40 years ago today) prevents federal tax dollars from funding abortion. We must protect our unborn.

It is always an honor and a privilege to welcome the South Plains Honor Flight to the United States Capitol. Today I was blessed to visit with these extraordinary veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

I can't think of a better home for the new B-21 Bomber "Raider" than the midst of Red Raider country. Hopeful that Dyess Air Force Base and Abilene are chosen to host this next generation of bombers.

Today, we are analyzing, discussing, and considering changes to the Financial CHOICE Act in the Financial Services Committee markup hearing. This is a comprehensive piece of legislation to address the problems created by the Dodd-Frank Act in the wake of the financial crisis. I am proud that two of my bills – H.R. 1266 and H.R. 5465 – are included in this legislation. For more information on my bills and how the Financial CHOICE Act will help you, see http://www.texasinsider.org/neugebauer-a-better-way-to-imp…/

The House just passed H.R. 5063 – Stop Settlement Slush Funds Act, hopefully closing a loophole that has allowed this administration to bypass the Congressional appropriations process and funnel money to interest groups of its choosing. I am pleased that if this bill is signed into law, money not given directly to victims would go to Treasury as part of the normal budget and spending process.

I had the chance to call and congratulate Jenna Hay today on her incredible win – World Champion Duathlete has a nice ring to it! I hope she enjoys some of the well-deserved chocolate she told me she bought while in Switzerland. So proud to support this world class athlete from the 19th District of Texas!

Dear Representative, this is the last time I will ask you to please ...push House Resolution 752 to the House floor for a vote. Most important that this passes to put an end to the suffering and torture to these sentient animals. All countries should have Animal Welfare Laws in place, and until this bill is passed, this will be really hard to do. China and the Yulin festival will be a start. Millions of Chinese are asking for help to get Welfare Laws in place. The thought of the torture and suffering going on to the Voiceless animals is more than I can bare the thought of. So please, I beg of you, please sign for any dog or cat you have ever bonded to or loved. I will be forever grateful to you. もっと見る

Dear Congressman, When you open this link , and I beg you to do so, ...then you can judge for yourself how bad the situation in China is. Cats and dogs are also God's children. They are executed in the most atrocious way that exists on earth. They need an animal law. Please help them by bringing to the floor a vote on House Resolution 752. We respect you and hope that your heart will speak after seeing this short video. Yours sincerely Hans and Leone Lemmens-Hoegen https://youtu.be/R_p71BjjCP8 Warning graphic. • (Logic vs Pragmatism of the Electoral College) Founding Fathers' Ele...ctoral College exists to maintain Supremacy for Control as Slavery... What happens when the Electoral College directly violates the U.S Constitution Amendment #13 and several of its Bill of Rights, including but not limited to #10, #9, #1, #5 etc.? Ultimately: Bill of Rights #5 protects all U.S citizens and (ironically) warrants an indictment to any participating member of government that chooses to prevent the appropriate legal procedures necessary as identified with the negative Electoral College voting system. Therefore, If you fail to accept/understand that race causes competition and implements an order of superiority/supremacy, your views are "right" but not truth. _Truth causes Change Selflessly, Ps. "After the 1800 census, Wilson’s free state of Pennsylvania had 10% more free persons than Virginia, but got 20% fewer electoral votes. Perversely, the more slaves Virginia (or any other slave state) bought or bred, the more electoral votes it would receive. Were a slave state to free any blacks who then moved North, the state could actually lose electoral votes." As a result, the "House" has to lose twice to be acknowledged as confirmed/acceptable, otherwise it still wins causing a 21st Century slavery via a "rigged" voting system. http://time.com/4558510/electoral-college-history-slavery/ もっと見る
