Tour The Bureau of Engraving & Printing


As the U.S. Government's security printer, the Bureau of Engraving & Printing is responsible for the design, engraving and printing of all U.S. paper currency. A world leader in printing technology, the Bureau also produces postage stamps, White House invitations, Treasury obligations, and other U.S. securities.

Availability

  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing Tours are available Monday - Friday, 9am-6pm from March to August and Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm from September to March. 
  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing Tours are closed on weekends and federal holidays.
  • Due to the high volume of requests, we do recommend that you submit your tour request at least three (3) months in advance. However, tour requests can be submitted between six (6) weeks to three (3) months prior to your requested tour date.
