Veterans

My support of veterans and their families never waivers. These men and women continue to make great sacrifices to keep each of us safe. I believe veterans and their families deserve certainty and security in their own lifes. For this reason I introduced, and the House Veterans Affairs Committee passed, H.R. 4087 which extends the end date of certain VA benefits from the end of the month before a recipient's death, to the end of the month of a recipient's death. This bill would prevent surviving family members from having to repay benefits that were used by their loved ones for care during life.
