White House & Capitol Tours

Visiting Washington, D.C. is an exciting and educational experience. My door is always open to you, so please do not hesitate to stop by my office to visit with me.

In addition, my staff can serve as a resource to you in booking tours for your trip. My office is able to request tickets for tours of the White House and the United States Capitol. If you are interested in other attractions in Washington, please visit their webpages for more information.

The White House

We are pleased to announce that the White House is open for limited public tours of the East Wing and Executive Residence.

Requests may be submitted to my office up to 6 months in advance and no less than 3 months in advance. Constituents are encouraged to submit their requests as early as possible, as only a limited number of spaces are available. Visitors should call the 24-hour White House Visitors Office information line at 202-456-7041 to determine if any last minute changes have been made in the schedule.

The U.S. Capitol

The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center is open to visitors from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Inauguration Day.
