Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge Releases Spotify List to Urge Children and Families to Get Moving
September 28, 2016WASHINGTON, D.C. – Just before the close of National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month (#NCOAM), Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released a Spotify list to get children and families moving. Comprised of up-tempo jams and line dance favorites, the list offers an innovative way to help families exercise together, engage on social media, and improve their wellness.
"I love music - it brings people together and gets everybody moving. No matter your age, race, or sex, you can get up and dance," said Congresswoman Fudge. “Childhood obesity awareness shouldn't just be observed in September, but every month of the year. This epidemic is eating away at our children's future, and we must do all we can to stop it. Join me in taking steps toward a healthier lifestyle one song at a time."
