Partisan GOP Staff Report Misrepresents Key Document
Washington, DC (April 25, 2013)—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, as the top Democrat on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, sent a letter calling on House Speaker John Boehner to formally retract a highly partisan Republican staff report he issued to the press earlier this week falsely suggesting that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lied under oath when she testified before Congress that she did not personally approve of security reductions in Benghazi.
