10th District of Virginia

The 10th Congressional District embodies what is great about the Commonwealth of Virginia.  From a suburban core in the East to expansive farmland in the West, the 10th District showcases the best of what Virginia has to offer to the nation.  The 10th District has attracted many of the leading internet, high-tech, health, and defense companies in the world to Northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley and is home to thousands of federal employees and other highly skilled professionals and entrepreneurs.  Loudoun and Fairfax Counties are ranked as the #1 and #3 places to live in the country respectively because of the quality of life they offer residents.

Agriculture also plays a key role in the 10th Congressional District.  In the western counties, there are rows upon rows of apple and peach orchards, and the wine industry and craft breweries are growing rapidly.  Kraft Foods and Hood Milk operate large manufacturing facilities in the City of Winchester, also located in the western part of the District.

Tourism is another draw to the District, whether you are hiking on the Appalachian Trail, fishing on the Shenandoah River, leaf peeping on Skyline Drive, or taking the Metro to downtown Washington there will always be something new to explore. The 10th District is home to Manassas National Battlefield Park as well as many Civil War battlefields. These parks and battlefields are a reminder of the great and consequential history of the Commonwealth.
