Congresswoman Speier to Host Accreditation Update at City College of San Francisco
San Mateo, CA - Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-San Francisco/San Mateo counties) will be joined by California Assemblyman Phil Ting and San Francisco Supervisor Scott Weiner to host a panel titled “City College: Open, Accredited, Stronger” on Monday, November 28, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Diego Rivera Theater at CCSF. Also on the panel will be Rafael Mandelman, President of the Board of Trustees; Tim Killikelly, President of AFT 2121; and Mike Claire, President of the College of San Mateo. To illustrate why CCSF is so essential to the education system in San Francisco, several department chairs and students will talk about classes including Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Bridge to Biotech, and Diversity Collaborative.
