I look forward to working with President-elect Trump, Vice President-elect Pence, and my colleagues in Congress to bring change to Washington, to build a stronger and safer America, and to get Americans back to work. Today and in the weeks ahead, we need to focus on coming together as a country and as Americans.

As we prepare to commemorate Veteran's Day next week, I hope you'll look for ways to thank veterans in your life. We owe them so much.

Met with workers from the Owens-Illinois plant in Lapel, Indiana, to talk about their apprenticeship program, listen to their concerns about burdensome EPA regulations, and learn more about glass manufacturing. They produce 2.5 million glass bottles, like the one I'm holding, everyday. This plant is just one of the many facilities that make Indiana a leader in manufacturing.
