Email update sent on Friday, November 4th, 2016

I sent an email update on Friday on some of the key ways my staff and I have delivered results to make government work for Sacramento County. Please join my email updates now so you don't miss any in the future!

Today, I wanted to make sure to send along a crucial report. Please also feel free to forward this report to any friends and family who may want to see it too.

In Sacramento County, I know sometimes it can feel like Washington doesn't listen. People in both parties get frustrated when politicians blame one another without offering solutions. Gridlock and special interests shouldn't set the agenda as you struggle in a changing economy.

That's why I have made it my priority to make government work for you.

Making government work means bringing your voice to Washington. It means finding common ground whenever we can and working with people in both parties to move forward. It means helping you - whether with backlogged veterans' benefits or Social Security issues.

But at the end of the day, making government work is about making progress. That’s what really matters: delivering results so everyone can get ahead.

Here are some of the key ways we've been able to deliver real results to make government work for Sacramento County >>

Being accountable is also a core part of making government work. You can visit my website’s issue pages to learn more about how I’m making government work for you.

Congress should be a place where we do the people’s work, not for politicians who only look out for what’s good for them.

Please always feel free to contact me or ask a question.

Be well,
