Youth Advisory Group
Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks is looking for motivated students in grades 8-12 from Indiana’s 5th Congressional District who have a strong interest in public service, policy and legislation to become part of her Youth Advisory Group. Student members of the Youth Advisory Group will have the opportunity to periodically meet with the Congresswoman and her staff to share their views and opinions on issues of importance to them and to the country.
Next Youth Advisory Group Meeting is Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hamilton East Public Library in Noblesville, and our discussion will focus on immigration. The meeting will consist of an introduction, followed interactive sessions with the Congresswoman meant to stimulate conversation about important federal issues. Refreshments will be provided and dress is casual.
