Nolan took to the floor late in the evening of Wednesday, May 21st, to speak in support of his amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which would prohibit funding of construction projects in Afghanistan (in excess of $500,000), unless the U.S. government can adequately inspect and audit those projects.
