On Tuesday, December 2nd, the U.S. House passed Congressman Nolan's bill to allow a land exchange between the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and Carlton County to move forward. Before the vote, the Congressman spoke from the Floor, urging his colleagues to pass the bill.
In a speech from the House Floor during debate on H.R.3080, the Water Resources Reform & Development Act (WRRDA), Rep. Nolan praised the bipartisan nature of the bill, and urged its passage by the House.
Due to the government shutdown, Rep. Nolan was unable to attend a forum sponsored by Men As Peacemakers, a group working to end sex trafficking in Minnesota, so he sent the following video message.
