On Monday morning, March 3, Congresswoman Niki Tsongas will be speaking at the annual Lowell Women’s Week Breakfast at Lenzi’s in Dracut. Tsongas will speak about current legislative issues affecting women, including support for women in the military and last year’s passing of the Defense Authorization bill.

Lowell Women's Week celebrates the contributions, advancements, and achievements of women in the Greater Lowell area. The annual event takes place in March, which was proclaimed as Women's History Month by a joint resolution of Congress in 1987.
