Senator Alexander accepts applications from outstanding Tennessee students who wish to attend our U.S. Service Academies: the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, the Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, the Military Academy at West Point, and the Naval Academy at Annapolis.

Internships are available in all six state offices and in our Washington office. School-year interns are accepted on a rolling basis and each office will work with intern candidates to accommodate class schedules. Summer internships are divided into two-six week sessions. The Senate Page Program is an excellent opportunity for Tennessee students to receive firsthand experience with the Legislative branch of our government. It is a challenging, yet rewarding opportunity for mature,hard-working students.

The United States Senate Youth Program is an excellent opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to deepen their knowledge of the Senate and the federal government overall, as well as receive a one-time ten thousand dollar college scholarship to the undergraduate college of their choice.
