(Richvale, CA) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Violence Against Women announced $500,000 in grant funding will be awarded to Alternatives to Violence in Red Bluff, CA. The funding is part of the Rural Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking Program, which is designed to support organizations that help identify and respond to cases of sexual assault and expand services for sexual assault victims in rural communities.
