The preliminary NTSB report on the Columbia Gas disaster in the Merrimack Valley contains more questions than answers. We need to turn over every stone and shine a light on the workings of this company and the entire industry, so that people can both trust that their gas system is safe and verify that nothing like this will ever happen again.

In response to my and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 3,000-word letter asking for details about the #MerrimackExplosions, NiSource replied with this… a two-paragraph response.

After I told them that’s unacceptable, they say they’ll provide full answers by Monday. That had better be true.
