The Senate owes not just Dr. Ford, but all the women of America, a serious investigation into these allegations of sexual assault. Supporters of the twin tunnels boondoggle recently inflated statistics about the project in a letter to the EPA to try and drum up support.
I sent a letter to the EPA this week to set the record straight and point out the misrepresentations in the letter sent by proponents of the tunnels.
The twin tunnels are a disaster for our community. They don't create a drop of new water, threaten precious ecosystems, and have the power to suck the Sacramento Delta dry. Opposing these ...tunnels and pursuing a smarter water plan, one that prioritizes recycling and building new water storage, is one of my top priorities in Congress.
