COUGHLIN, Daniel P., a House Chaplain; born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., November 8, 1934; graduated from Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary, Chicago, Ill.; B.A., St. Mary of the Lake University, Mundelein, Ill., 1960; M.A.P.S., Loyola University, Chicago, Ill., 1968; ordained in the Roman Catholic Church on May 3, 1960, in LaGrange, Ill.; parish priest; vicar, Archdiocese of Chicago, Ill.; elected Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives for the 106th and for the six succeeding Congresses and served until his resignation on April 30, 2011 (March 23, 2000–April 30, 2011).
