This morning, I am joined by Oregon Senator Ron Wyden, Senator Jim Risch, Congressman Mike Simpson and the US Forest Service Chief Vicki Christiansen at the National Interagency Fire Center to talk about legislation passed by Congress that will treat the nation’s largest wildfires as natural disasters. This legislation has been in the works for more than five years and with its passage, it will protect lives, property and public lands as we enter this year‘s fire season. Join us!
