    Be ready for a power outage: ❄️Turn your fridge to the coldest setting. ⚡️Charge mobile phones and other electric equipment now. 🌡Put a thermometer in the fridge. If the temp is 40 degrees or higher when power's restored, throw food out.

    As you do last-minute preparations, check on your neighbors to see if they’re alright and if they need help for the storm. For some, like those who are elderly, sick or disabled, it may be more challenging to prepare.

    If you have flood insurance, take pics/videos of your property BEFORE . Have photos of appliances, furniture, & other valuable items—anything you might file an insurance claim for later if it’s damaged. More tips:
