Amtrak Yard Workers Talk Delaware JobsBiden, Carper, Castle Commit to Fighting for $1.2 Billion for Amtrak

BEAR, DE - Senators Joe Biden and Tom Carper and Congressman Mike Castle will meet with Amtrak workers and officials tomorrow to discuss plans to call back nearly 50 furloughed workers to the Bear, Delaware repair and maintenance facility. This callback is due in part to the expectation of $1.2 billion in federal funding which the Delegation is seeking to secure for fiscal year 2003.
