    I spoke at a celebration to commemorate the preservation of the two oldest Chico water towers, built in 1905 and 1913. I'm pleased that the California Water Service elected to maintain these historic structures and preserve their rich historical significance to the city of Chico.

    Today, the hosted a Ribbon Cutting for the expansion and relocation of Chico Hyundai, owned and operated by Brian Bowen. Brian also owns Chico Nissan, which is also undergoing a major renovation with a brand new building.

    Today, I toured construction for Modoc Medical Center & met w/leadership to discuss progress. The new facility will be 47,000 sq. ft. located near Hwy 299 in Alturas. Construction should be completed in 2020 with general hospital operations to begin in late 2020 or early 2021.
