    Big day today for a plane load of Patriots. Wheels were up at 5:20 in Marion, IL for Richard England (brother Steve) Marvin Braswell (son Kerry) and Bobby Askew (son Bruce)I was proud to see this Honor Flight off. I and many others are praying for their safe trip and safe return.

    John B. Matheny paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of freedom on November 20, 1944. I had the honor of presenting World War II medals to his son, Charles, at my office in O'Fallon. God bless John Matheny and all who gave their lives in defense of our nation.
