    On a difficult day for many to see and hear, we are reminded that creating an environment where women can come forward without fear is an important step. Americans deserve a Supreme Court Justice who represents nothing less than the highest moral and ethical standards.

    As a sexual assault survivor, I understand what would lead Dr. Ford to delay telling her story. She deserves to be heard and seriously considered. We must recognize the reality that no person is entitled to a seat on the Supreme Court.
