    As a sexual assault survivor, I understand what would lead Dr. Ford to delay telling her story. She deserves to be heard and seriously considered. We must recognize the reality that no person is entitled to a seat on the Supreme Court.

    I was glad to help negotiate the Labor-HHS-Education/Defense bill that passed the House today! It funds critical programs, keeps our national defense strong, & ensures our govt will stay open through December – while rejecting draconian spending cuts proposed by the Trump Admin.
