Indeed. Thank you to the countless migrant workers who do the labor on our nation's farms and keep us fed. They are unsung heroes for sure!
Like the ones who get entitlements from the federal government?
The “Big Corporate Farm Operations,” get the lionshare of those subsidies today. You didn’t think #DonaldTrump was helping the small people, did you? Seriously! If you did, you do not understand the crisis we are in here in the #UnitedStates. @PolisForCO @COHummingbirdpic.twitter.com/fnUB8glk6D
Do you fact checks
72% of farmers said healthcare was their #1 concern. The GOP voted 70X to repeal the Affordable Care Act & protections guaranteed pre-existing medical conditions. The GOP budget proposal cuts Medicare, by $473 billion over 10 years. Watch what they do, not what they say.
Maybe it’s because farmers hate Obamacare. That ever go through your head?
I'm not so sure about that. My brother and most of my cousins in farming rely on ACA for healthcare, especially for their children. Income is so low for family farmers that Medicaid becomes a real need for many folks. Maybe the views vary by region?
Most we know who farm are self-insured & now have ACA. Rates that went up. Why? They had those cheap plans that didn't cover sqwat. Farm injuries, school sports injuries, long illnesses put them in huge debt. Guess who's paying the medical debt the hospital had to write off?
And now the GOP Congress restored those crappy plans that encourage people to push their unpaid debt back to the hospitals that push it back on to us. ACA isn't perfect and Medicaid should be expanded.
Et c'est tous les jours jusqu'au consommateurs que le ministère communique. A quand monsieur @StTRAVERTpic.twitter.com/uhBiyZ0ZKY
So true! Too bad the Trump Administration is screwing farmers over. #VoteBlueToSaveAmericahttps://www.wsj.com/articles/farmers-say-aid-wont-cover-tariff-damage-1537974178 …
Pause a moment, and rplease eflect on farmers worldwide, especially #SouthAfrica #FarmMurders. Thank God Americans are not being picked off one by one by their own government.
@realDonaldTrump sure is helping farmers with his trade wars.
Guess that means more affordable food and ethanol for Americans then. Since our crops are going into storage then there is no excuse for any of our children to go hungry. #Alabama #MAGA #Farmersday
