    46 years ago, the Clean Water Act became law & helped us clean up pollution & waterways. But from Flint to Oscoda, we know safe drinking water is not a guarantee. Congress must invest in cleaning up harmful chemicals and investing in water infrastructure.

    PFAS contamination cannot be ignored, which is why I worked to secure millions in funding to clean up contamination in Oscoda and other places. The Air Force must move with more urgency to address PFAS contamination.

    Pretty hard to describe how proud I am of this little girl I only just met, and of my amazing wife, . The nurses keep saying Emmy is “strong”—so now I’m living with two strong women. And I’m the better for it.
