    Whether it’s discriminatory voter ID laws, questionable purges of voter rolls, or voter intimidation – GOP controlled state legislatures are making it harder for voters to cast their ballot. My op-ed on why we must act to protect Americans’ right to vote:

    By our count, 16 million people were removed from voter rolls b/w 2014 and 2016. Most of that spike was driven by states in the south once under federal oversight...until the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act.

    The public charge rule is meant to scare immigrant families, including those who qualify for CHIP & SNAP, from applying to health and food assistance programs. Trump will continue to push immigrants into the shadows, and we will continue to fight against his efforts.
