    The Trump Admin's proposal = an attack on the dignity & lives of transgender Americans, effectively abandoning their right to access health care, housing, ed, & fair treatment under the law. We can't turn back the clock on civil rights for the transgender community.

    The Trump administration is considering a legal definition of gender as fixed at birth, the most dramatic in a series of moves to roll back protections for transgender people

    We cannot turn a blind eye to such an egregious betrayal of our most fundamental values. Doing so would send a dangerous signal to the world & would embolden autocratic leaders & those who wish to do us harm.

    Last Friday, Saudi officials finally admitted that Jamal Khashoggi was brutally murdered inside their consulate in Turkey. The explanation given by Saudi Arabia defies credibility & Congress & the administration must demand an international investigation into this gruesome event.
